Join Henry “Hank” Dorkin, M.D. ’74, a pediatric pulmonologist, as he shares his career journey and offers advice! In 2008, Dr. Dorkin became clinical chief of the Division of Pulmonary Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital and Cystic Fibrosis Center director and Therapeutics Development Network Center co-director. He expanded the clinical trials program and made it independent of the division's finances. While director of clinical research, he expanded areas of the program into asthma, interstitial lung disease, primary ciliary dyskinesia, pulmonary artery hypertension, and lung transplantation. Dr. Dorkin is also involved in public health advocacy at the state and federal levels, and has served in numerous medical association leadership roles.
