Neurosurgery Research

The division has both clinical and basic research interests which include local delivery to eloquent pediatric tumors such as brainstem and spinal cord tumors. The other focus is pediatric spinal cord injury. Clinical research focuses on hydrocephalus, endoscopy, and pediatric trauma. There are several ongoing trials for children with these conditions.

The Division of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Hopkins Children's is exclusively devoted to the diagnosis and management of neurosurgical problems in infants, children and teenagers.

Locations and Directions

The pediatric neurosurgery group sees patients almost every day of the week at the Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.

We have a clinic every Tuesday afternoon at Greenspring Station in Baltimore County and every Thursday afternoon at Cedar Lane in Howard County.
