The Memory and Alzheimer's Treatment Center is a collaborative partnership between the departments of psychiatry, neurology, and geriatric medicine that offers comprehensive evaluation and innovative treatment to patients with a range of conditions that affect cognition and memory, including Alzheimer's disease and other dementias, traumatic brain injury, and brain vascular disease.

    A conference event on the diagnosis and treatment of memory loss as well as tips to manage Alzheimer's disease and its associated behaviors. This event is free and open for all caregivers. View conference resources

  • Dementia Caregiving Conference

    This is free for caregivers whose loved ones have been diagnosed with dementia or memory loss. Video recording and resources are available from the conference.

Psychiatrist Constantine Lyketsos and his team have learned how to better help people with Alzheimer’s continue to live at home, and they are putting the guidelines into use all over the United States.

Treating Dementia and Depression – Dr. Jin Hui Joo

Dr. Jin Hui Joo researches and develops programs that decrease barriers and engage minority older adults in depression care.

 

Charitable Giving

Patient care is integrated with research to develop new treatments for Alzheimer’s and other dementias, and with training programs for the lay public, physicians, specialists, other clinicians and researchers in the field.
