Johns Hopkins Medicine Hospitals Receive A’s and B’s for Patient Safety in Spring 2020 Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grades

Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, Howard County General Hospital and Suburban Hospital have been awarded an A grade based on their performance in preventing medical errors, infections and other harms among patients in their care by The Leapfrog Group. The Johns Hopkins Hospital and Sibley Memorial Hospital each received a B safety grade.

Five Johns Hopkins Hospitals Receive CHIME's Healthcare's Most Wired Designation (2020)

The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, Sibley Memorial Hospital, Suburban Hospital and Howard County General Hospital have each been recognized by the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) as a 2020 Most Wired recipient. CHIME’s annual HealthCare’s Most Wired survey provides this designation to healthcare organizations that exemplify best practices through adoption, implementation and use of information technology to elevate the health and care of communities they serve.
